We help the Africa community in Dortmund.
Africa Connect e.V., based in Dortmund, is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to promoting international understanding, tolerance, and cultural exchange. We support social, cultural, and sports activities for Africans in Germany and Africa, assist refugees in integrating into society, and focus on the welfare of children, youth, and families. Through training, counseling, and collaboration with like-minded organizations, we foster self-help and community participation. Our activities include organizing events, publishing on global issues, and advancing development education. We particularly aim to prevent illegal migration by establishing educational centers, believing that education leads to economic prosperity and reduces poverty, thereby contributing to Africa's development. Africa Connect e.V. operates entirely for charitable purposes without seeking personal financial gain.
