DESCRIPTION:This event was held on volunteering and civic engagement in the context of associations.\nClub members and other interested parties were given a low-threshold introduction to volunteer management\, and basic principles were explained to them.  They also had the opportunity to practice what they had learned in tasks\, and in small groups\, the participants were able to discuss the seven instruments for promoting volunteer work and develop practical examples. In the final section of the workshop workshop\, the opportunities and challenges of volunteering were discussed. Here became clear that voluntary work needs the main office in order to work efficiently and that the main office cannot function without volunteers. Some participants were able to share their experiences in the plenary session and highlight the frequent conflicts between full-time and volunteers. Possible solutions were formulated by the formulated by the speaker. The workshop was very interesting\, and there was also room for discussion for all participants. It was very informative\, as the participants were able to obtain a lot of information about opportunities for volunteers in Dortmund and also in NRW.
